A unique research laboratory: the only laboratory of its type in the world, designed to serve our clients and improve our technology.
To ensure the reliability and performance of all our technologies and products, Erlab maintains an onsite, fully integrated research laboratory managed by an on-staff Research and Development Director and a PhD in chemistry, physics and microbiology. The only one of its kind in the world, this 3,000 square foot, state-of-the-art facility includes:
- Three chemists with 40+ years of combined experience
- Three product development technicians
- an infrared spectrometer to measure SF6 tracer gas
- Mass spectrophotometers
- Chromatographs
- A test bubble (the only one of its kind in the world)
- ASTM control units
