Adaptability and flexibility

The modular design of the filtration column makes the new captair line adaptable to the laboratory safety needs of any field. The interchangeability of the filters allows the filtration column to be configured specifically for the applications carried out within the enclosure.

Vertical modularity

The vertically-stacked arrangement of the filters allows particulate and molecular filter technologies to be combined. The column is guaranteed to be air-tight using a gel-based seal around the edge of each filter. The various configurations possible make the system suitable for the following types of applications:

Applications involving chemicals in liquid form.
Applications involving chemicals in liquid and solid form (powders).
Applications involving chemicals in solid form (powders).
Applications performed in clean rooms (up to class ISO7 or Class 10000 according to US Federal Standard 209E).
The containment of laboratory instrumentation.

Horizontal modularity

The enclosures of the new captair line were designed to accommodate from one to four filtration columns. This adaptability makes it possible to cover all safety needs in terms of the retention capacity of the device: from the containment of low-emission instrumentation to large evaporations of toxic substances.
